Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Learn how Calorithm protects your data.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 2, 2026

Calorithm is a privacy-first calorie tracker. We believe your data is yours — not ours. This policy explains our commitments in plain language.

No Data Collection

Calorithm does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or usage data from users. The app does not require an account or sign-in. We do not collect names, email addresses, weights, measurements, or any other personal health information.

Offline-Only Operation

All core features of Calorithm operate entirely on your device. Data you enter (if any) remains on your device and is not sent to our servers. The app does not run analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services that transmit usage data.

No Third-Party Sharing

Because we do not collect or store user data, there is nothing to share with third parties. Calorithm does not sell, rent, or trade any user information.

Permissions

The app does not request permissions to access contacts, photos, location, or other personal device data. If future functionality requires permissions (e.g., optional backups), those will be clearly described and strictly opt-in.

Security

Since Calorithm does not transmit or store user data on our servers, typical server-side security risks are not applicable. We still recommend users keep their devices protected with a passcode and use device-level backups according to their preferences.

Children

Calorithm does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no data is collected or stored by us, parental consent is not required to use the app. If you believe your child provided personal information to Calorithm through an unexpected channel, contact us and we will investigate promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Whenever feasible, we will aim to keep the app's core privacy commitments (no collection, offline operation) unchanged.
